THE PROCESS

MADE BY HAND,
MEASURED LIKE ENGINEERING

A replica is not a print. It is a shell built up by hand, sanded until it holds light like bodywork, and mounted with a frame designed for the wall it will live on. This is how each piece is made.

    MOULD & LAMINATE

Every piece starts as a mould. Fibreglass mat and resin are laid by hand, layer over layer, until the shell has the thickness and rigidity the piece needs.

  2. 02

    FINISH

Sanded, filled and primed until the surface is free of pinholes. Then colour, clear coat and the details that make a replica read as the real thing from a metre away.

  3. 03

    ASSEMBLE

Wings, floor, steering wheel and trim are built and fitted. Components are removable so the piece can travel, be stored and be reassembled without damage.

  4. 04

    MOUNT & DELIVER

For wall pieces we supply the internal frame and the anchor plate, sized to the wall. For events we handle transport, installation and strike.

MATERIALS

LIGHT ENOUGH TO HANG. RIGID ENOUGH TO KEEP ITS SHAPE.

Fibreglass gives the piece its strength without the weight of a steel body: a shell that can be mounted on a wall, moved between venues and stored between seasons without losing its geometry.
